How do I arrange for the road brooms to be returned for debristling or refills? |
| |
Contact the Customer Services team and they will arrange for the product to be picked up and delivered to our manufacturing plant. >> BACK |
 |
What brooms do you recommend for use around heat? |
| |
Our Scavenger Broom range is manufactured from steel and has steel stock and fill. Other fills that can be used around heat are polyester, and vegetable fibres. >> BACK |
 |
What brooms do you recommend for use in solvents? |
| |
Vegetable fibre is best for washing motors, petrol, diesel, kerosene and most solvents. It is preferable that you use a wooden head broom but alternatively you can use polypropylene heads for oil, petrol, turps, thinners, diesel, brake fluids and kerosene. >> BACK |

Are Click Clack food storage containers microwave safe? |
| |
Only the bases of the Accents, Classics and IceHot ranges are microwave safe >> BACK |
 |
Do your products meet with FDA Compliance? |
| |
Yes - for all food contact surfaces, materials comply with FDA 21 CFE 177.1520 (olefin polymers) including cc 3.1 for food contact application (polyethylene), 21 CFR 178.1580 (polycarbonate polymers) for food contact applications at up to 100°C. >> BACK |
 |
How do you clean/wash the food storage products? |
| |
It depends on the storage container that you have purchased. Accents, Classics and IceHot – The bases are dishwasher safe, in top and bottom rack (safe with most detergents) or hand wash with non-abrasive materials. Wipe the lid with a damp cloth or dismantle the lid and clean inside. Stack & Seal Canisters, Storers and Store-All – Hand wash the base with non-abrasive materials. Wipe lid with damp cloth. >> BACK |
 |
How do you dismantle the lids for cleaning? |
| |
A diaphragm covers the bottom of the lid. Pry the diaphragm away from the top part of the lid. It can be very stiff the first time it is removed. Once the diaphragm is off, the inside of the lid can be cleaned. Allow to dry thoroughly before reassembling. Replace the diaphragm on the lid, it will snap back into place >> BACK |
 |
What is different about the IceHot range? |
| |
IceHot storer range is by far the first food container that allows you to heat the content up in the microwave directly from the freezer. It comes in eight sizes with a slight tint blue base and a cornflower blue lid. The tint blue is added to the base to prevent freezer burn on the meat. Although the container is freezer-to-microwave safe, the lid will need to be removed when microwaving as the seal is not microwave safe, and also to avoid steam burn from the pressure and heat build-up during the re-heating process. >> BACK |
 |
What makes the food storage products airtight? |
| |
Accents, Canisters, Store-all and Classics range have flexible underside that expands and contracts to provide an airtight seal. Squeeze toggles control the expansion and contraction. The Storers have a moulded airtight gasket, and the clip toggles control the compression. The Boxes have a moulded airtight gasket. The non-corrosive stainless steel locking clips control the compression. >> BACK |

Are Strahl glasses able to be unscrewed? |
| |
It is not recommended to unscrew Strahl glasses. If you unscrew them and try and put them back together it could cause you to cross threads and, as a result, you may be unable to put the glasses together. The only time Strahl glasses are in two pieces is when they are manufactured; once they are put together you should not take them apart. >> BACK |
 |
How do you clean the beverageware products? |
| |
All of our Strahl tumblers, stemware and serveware are dishwasher safe, top and bottom rack. If hand washing, use non-abrasive materials. >> BACK |
 |
Is the Strahl beverageware range microwave safe? |
| |
The complete beverageware range is microwave safe. >> BACK |
